No. FlowDesk is a workflow management and operations intelligence platform. It includes task management, but it also supports projects, QA and review flow, effort logs, meetings, reports, analytics, notifications, blockers, attachments, and billing-ready operational summaries.
What makes FlowDesk different from tools like ClickUp, Asana, or monday.com?
FlowDesk is positioned as a customizable delivery-operations workspace, not a generic task board. It is configured around the client's workflow, roles, reporting needs, review process, effort tracking, and operational visibility requirements.
Do all plans include unlimited users and projects?
Yes. All FlowDesk plans include unlimited users and unlimited projects under fair-use limits. Teams pay for workflow intelligence, customization, reporting depth, and operational control rather than per-seat growth.
Why is there a setup cost?
FlowDesk includes workflow configuration, role setup, onboarding, launch support, and plan-specific customization. The monthly fee is intentionally lower because it covers hosting, support, maintenance, and platform updates after setup.
Can FlowDesk be customized for our workflow?
Yes. FlowDesk can be configured around your lifecycle, roles, QA/review process, reporting needs, dashboards, permissions, and operational controls. Custom modules, integrations, private deployment, and advanced reporting are quoted separately.
Does FlowDesk support analytics and workload visibility?
Yes. FlowDesk can support member insights, project insights, workload snapshots, delivery confidence indicators, overload and free-capacity signals, task risk detection, assignee recommendation logic, and alert-style analytics output depending on the plan.
Can we track effort, meetings, and project reports?
Yes. FlowDesk supports effort logs, meeting logs, comments, files, notifications, project reports, and operational summaries so managers can understand progress, consumption, blockers, and handoffs more clearly.
Can FlowDesk support QA/review workflows?
Yes. FlowDesk can support structured QA and review flows so tasks move through execution, review, feedback, closure, and reporting with clearer ownership and status visibility.
Is billing support a full accounting system?
No. FlowDesk billing support is meant to help service teams connect execution data, effort, reports, and project consumption into billing-ready summaries. It is not a replacement for accounting, invoicing, or tax software.

Yes. Private deployment, integrations, custom infrastructure, SLA options, and advanced workflow modules can be discussed under the Custom OS plan.
