M4 Pilot: AI Shopping Assistant is a SaaS app for Shopify merchants provided by M4makers AI Solutions Pvt Ltd. It helps shoppers find relevant products faster by using the merchant's synced Shopify product catalog.

This Privacy Policy explains how M4 Pilot handles merchant, store, catalog, widget, and technical information needed to operate the app.

After a merchant installs M4 Pilot, the app connects with the Shopify store and currently requests minimal Shopify permission, mainly read_products.

M4 Pilot may store the shop domain, Shopify install status, encrypted Shopify access tokens or refresh tokens where applicable, subscription or plan status, and technical details needed to keep the store connection working.

M4 Pilot may sync and store product catalog data needed for shopper recommendations, including product names, descriptions, variants, prices, images, availability, and related product details from the merchant's Shopify catalog.

Product recommendations are based on synced Shopify catalog data. M4 Pilot does not auto-post or change Shopify store content without merchant action.

To operate the storefront assistant, M4 Pilot may collect and store widget usage data and chat interaction data needed to answer shopper questions, understand product discovery behavior, and improve the assistant experience.

Technical logs may also be collected for security, debugging, reliability, and abuse-prevention purposes. These logs may include timestamps, request details, browser or device signals, and similar operational metadata.

M4 Pilot does not currently request protected customer data from Shopify. The app is focused on Shopify product catalog access and AI shopping assistance.

If the app receives privacy webhook requests from Shopify, M4makers handles the mandatory Shopify privacy webhooks, including customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact, and app/uninstalled.

M4 Pilot uses collected information to operate the Shopify app, power product recommendations, maintain widget behavior, manage subscriptions, support merchants, debug technical issues, and improve the service.

M4makers does not sell merchant or customer data. Data may be processed by infrastructure, AI/API, hosting, email, logging, analytics, and service providers that are needed to run and support the app.

Merchants can request deletion of app-related store data by contacting M4makers. Deletion requests are reviewed based on the verified shop domain and applicable retention requirements.
